Dr. Susan Kim completed her undergraduate education in 1989 with a Biochemistry degree from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. After graduating with high honors, she attended the University of Washington School of Medicine and subsequently completed her residency at the UW School of Medicine in 1999. Following her residency, Dr. Kim started in private practice opening Lake Washington Dermatology. In 2014, Dr. Kim expanded the practice hiring two additional dermatologists to support her growing patient needs. Dr. Kim is married with two children, and in her spare time enjoys family, friends, exercise, classical music and opera. Dr. Kim especially loves her feisty, 90+ year-old patients, since they seem to have learned the secret to a good life.
